About us

Our Mission

Montgomery County Cares (MCC) exists to provide financial assistance to persons who reside in Montgomery County, including shelter, food, utilities, rent, transportation, prescriptions, and other such needs, as funding is available.  Said assistance shall also include help with annual events such as the Christmas Club campaign and backpacks for Back-To-School programs. MCC shall serve all persons in need regardless of age, sex, religious affiliation, or race.

MCC is an extension of the Montgomery County Ministerial Alliance.  We are a 501c3 organization, which ensures that all donations are tax deductible.  100% of donations go back into the Montgomery County community to help those in need.  Board members are strictly volunteers and choose to give glory to God in seeing that community needs are met--our goal is to share the love of Jesus by following His example.

We participate in a number of community events, where we distribute information about our organization and meet our neighbors attending those events.  You will see us the Montgomery County Fair, the Montgomery County Health Fair, Autumnfest, and the Old Threshers event, just to name a few.  Also, look for our Blue Kettle, manned by volunteers, outside of local businesses at Christmas and other times of the year.

The MCC Board meets on the first Monday evening of each month at 7:00 p.m. at The Light church, 102 W. Hudson St. Wellsville, MO 63384. If anyone would like to learn more about MCC, or if you would be interested in becoming a participant, you are invited to attend.
